We want your experience in Bocas to be as pleasant as possible, so please take note of the following:
If you are only going to be here for 2 or 3 days we recommend that you make an advance appointment with us so we can give you the time that you need. However, if you think you may want to buy a property while you are here, plan to be here for a week so you can see as much as possible.
The weather in Bocas del Toro is different from the rest of Panama. Generally the rainy months are June through July and November through January. Drier months tend to be March through May, and September through October. If you plan to come during the rainy months we recommend that you stay in Bocas a minimum of 5 days, as it can easily rain 3 days and you will only have a short time left to look at properties. Regardless of when you come, we suggest that you bring rain gear, boots (or footwear that you don’t mind getting wet and/or muddy), long pants, hat and sunscreen.
We recommend that you do not come during Carnival time (January 31-February 5, 2008), as you will not be able to find a room.
We are an independent real estate company in Bocas, meaning that we do not own, nor do we have a financial interest in any of the properties we list. We are not a tour company and unfortunately we only have time to show properties to serious buyers, therefore we ask that you pay the boat and taxi fees (if applicable) and you will get a refund when you buy one of our properties. This is standard procedure for all independent real estate companies in Bocas. The cost can range from $60 - $120 (gasoline is expensive here) depending upon how many properties you want to see and how far away they are located. Thank you for your understanding.
